Bathurst Regional Council required the supply and construction of a new Sewer Rising Main to mitigate the issues affecting the existing main which currently runs under the Macquarie River and to service the projected growth of population within the Eglinton suburb of Bathurst. The proposed new Sewer Rising Main would commence at the existing Eglinton Sewer Pump station and connect back into the council sewage system on Eglinton Rd a distance of 800mrts, this will also require the sewer rising main to cross the Macquarie River via the Eglinton Bridge which is over 200mrts in length.
