BATHURST HERFORD ST SEWER RISING MAIN & SPS

Bathurst Regional Council is developing a Rugby League complex and Club House in Herford St Bathurst. A Sewage Pump Station is required to transfer wastewater generated at the clubhouse to the council sewage system in Stanley St, this will also require the sewer rising main to cross the Macquarie River via the Herford St Bridge.

Works Undertaken

• Supply and installation of an electrical switchboard and connection via underground cables to the power supply.
• Design and Construct Sewage Pump package and rising main to suit requirements of Rugby League complex.
• Supply and installation of two 7.5kw electric submersible sewage pumps in a duty/standby arrangement and associated pipework into the newly constructed Sewage Wet Well.
• Interface Pump System into council existing Clear -Scada system for ongoing monitoring.
• Supply and installation of 2.5km long sewage rising main 75mm PN12.5 Poly to Stanley St.
• Under bore Herford St as required
• Attach to Herford St Bridge 75mm Stainless Pipeline the full length of bridge and connect back into 75mm poly rising main.
• Connection of the discharge pipeline into the existing in-service sewage manhole in Stanley St.
• Testing and Commission Pump system and pipeline.

• Project finished on schedule despite construction delays.
• Excavation and pipe laying in proximity to existing infrastructure.
• No underground service strikes for the duration of the project
• Daily traffic management along roadside and Herford St bridge crossing
• Working alongside existing roadways
• Attaching Pipework along the side of the very busy Herford St bridge.
• Directional Drilling activities.
